I'm so happy to let you guys know that this Wednesday, September 11, 2013, 'GorgeousAngelAsin' blog completes its first year! I have to post this article early, because since school started last week, I'm kind of busy again and I don't think I'll be able to post this on the right day or later this week.
So anyway, 'GorgeousAngelAsin' was created for the fans of the amazing actress Asin Thottumkal. I'm sure we Asin's fans woud love to know her latest activities. Even though sometimes I couldn't update things on the right time, I've always got the nicest comments & I appreciate it a lot that you guys take your time to visit my blog. I serious don't think I could continue this blog without all of your help. I would like to thank all my friends and visitors for helping me run 'GorgeousAngelAsin' successfully. :)
PS - Like I said, since school has started, I won't be active a lot here, but I'm usually active on my Instagram page. So even I'm not here, check my Instagram page for Asin's latest pics, news, etc. The link is in the intro article. :)
Directed by Ramesh Aravind and produced by Linguswamy, Ulaga Nayagan's next is titled 'Uththama Villain'. The film is expected to start rolling from next month and the crew was in frantic search of the apt heroine for the film. Kajal Aggarwal was first approached, but she could not accommodate the film in her calendar and hence backed off.
So the crew zeroed in on Asin as their choice and the actress was readily willing to accept the offer. This makes it the second time that Asin is paired up with Kamal Hassan, taking 'Dasavatharam' into account. 'Uththama Villain' has the screenplay and dialogues by Crazy Mohan. Kamal is currently busy with 'Vishwaroopam 2' and is rushing up with the post production work, as he wishes to get 'Uththama Villain' on the floors once 'Vishwaroopam' sequel is completely done with. For Asin, who was looking for the perfect relaunch in Kollywood, 'Uththama Villain' is the right opportunity, don't you think?
My Comment:'I hope this is true! It would be amazing to see Asin in Kollywood again! :)'
The makers of Welcome had announced its sequel a long time ago but work's still to begin on the film. While the casting is still going on for it, we hear that Asin is no longer a part of the project. Instead, Shruti Haasan has been roped in in her place. According to sources, Shruti will play the lead opposite John Abraham.
Says a source, “Earlier Sonakshi Sinha was finalised for the film however her dates were clashing with Prabhu Deva's next with Ajay Devgn. Bazmee then roped in Asin.” But apparently the makers got keen to approach Shruti after watching her recent releases D-Day and Ramaiya Vastavaiya.
Confirms director Anees Bazmee, “Yes, it is true. We were talking to a lot of actresses including Asin. Shruti fits the bill better. We are still looking for an ideal replacement for Firoz Khan's role.”
My comment: "All the best to Shruti, but I just don't feel good after reading this news, This isn't exactly a "good news" for me. In my opinion, I think Asin would suit the role and John more. Oh well.. I guess we, Asin Fans, just have to wait for Mere Apne in which Asin will play an important dramatic role opposite Abhishek Bachchan."
